In this session, you will explore how to implement the work of Carol Dweck’s research of growth mindset to create a Writers’ Workshop which will empower your students to achieve as writers, improve in all areas of academics, and even boost their social-emotional well-being. Come and assess your own mindset as a writing instructor, explore the belief that everyone is a writer, and fill your toolbox with resources to develop a strong writing community that engages in meaningful communication, embraces a challenge, sets goals, and gives reflective feedback.
