This 3 day workshop provides an in-depth look at the factors that affect second language acquisition and the best practices for teaching English Learners. Teachers and coaches will learn about a research based instructional model that has proven effective in addressing the academic needs of English learners. Teachers and coaches will be able to design and deliver lessons that address both the academic and linguistic needs of English learners.
