Participants will learn how to intentionally chose multicultural children's literature to promote the critical analysis of texts.
The process used to foster peer conversations and classroom social justice projects will be shared along with classroom artifacts. Videos taken during the process will also be shown with student interviews.
Presenters will help participants select mulicultural literature through the lens of children's literature proving mirrors, windows and doors.
