Every teacher has a classroom to manage. As most teachers are familiar with their content, new teachers lack the knowledge or skill to manage their classroom. Classroom management sets the stage for student learning. In order for students to learn to the best of their ability, students must be engaged in the lesson and high expectations must be in place. If the expectations are set and implemented within the classroom, student achievement will increase.
