State and Federal laws, along with relevant Board policies, pertaining to harassment, intimidation, and bullying will be discussed during the presentation. The required practices related to identifying, reporting, properly investigating and addressing this conduct will be covered. The presentation will include the District’s obligations contained in Titles VI and IX. Reporting procedures for child neglect and abuse will be addressed in detail. The obligations that a school has to transgender students will also be discussed.
