This presentation will explain the process of how HHS implemented their one to one program focusing on professional development, logistics of rolling out, formation of our Digital Leader Core (DLC) team, and continuing our support for both teachers and students. It will be a mixture of our presentation with a Q&A portion at the end.

The participants will experience a diverse watercolor unit from the perspective of a student as they explore brush and watercolor techniques (wet & dry) individually and in small groups before listening, discussing, and visually expressing the effects that pre-selected music has on the five senses and on one's memory. Additionally, the participants will experience the effect that intra- and inter-departmental collaborations can have on the students and improve overall engagement. Objectives: After completing this course, the participants will be able to: 1) demonstrate wet and dry watercolor techniques; 2) create watercolor activities for individuals and groups; 3) integrate literature and music into watercolor lesson plans; 4) improve student engagement; and 6) create impactful intra- and inter-departmental collaborations.
Implementing the Personalized Learning Initiative (PLI) has many phases (delivery, distribution, tracking, repair request, and end of the year collection). During this session the presenter will review the various phases, successes and challenges that were experienced during the first year of being 1:1.
