Incorporating Deca in the Classroom
I will be showing examples of how to incorporate DECA into the classroom, providing resources that will aid in planning business classes (General, Accounting, Finance, Marketing or Sports Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Advertising, Fashion, Management, etc.). We will workshop with teachers so they can walk away with full units of materials for their classroom taught in a project based learning style. DECA is a co-curricular club that focuses on business and marketing and takes place inside and outside of the classroom. DECA is designed to be taught in the classroom, which minimizes the amount of club meetings before and after school. There are amazing enrichment programs for students through the club, including competitions, trips, scholarships, and more!
