Special Education Case Managers and other special education personnel will be trained to identify circumstances which require the provision of Prior Written Notice (PWN), and to identify the components of PWN. Additional focus and targeted practice will address each of the 5 questions presented within the Prior Written Notice.
Teachers of all levels are welcome to this hands-on workshop where they will be making sense of Depth of Knowledge and how it applies to not only classroom instruction but also how it can drive planning and assessment.

Are you an IC or teacher leader for grades 3-5? Do you want to learn how to support your teachers in math unit planning and increase your test scores? If so, this is the session for you! Participants will learn how to plan standards-based, rigorous units that focus on building conceptual understanding in math. Participants will have time to work on units and resources will be shared. You will need your laptop for this session.
Use Screencastify to extend your lessons past your classroom. Learn to record mini-lessons, review lessons, and even communication with families using Screencastify, allowing you to spend more time in small groups or with individual students.
Digital breakouts are a fun and challenging way to get students (or staff) interacting with content. They are great for student engagement, and students of all levels respond well to them. Digital breakouts also help students develop the soft skills of perseverance and collaboration. This workshop will provide participants the opportunity to complete a digital breakout, learn about sources for pre-made digital breakouts, and learn about tools for creating your own digital breakout. For the last hour of the session, participants will have the chance to work on creating their own digital breakout to meet the needs of their students (or staff). *Participants must bring a laptop.*
